What is the the Soap Box? It’s a little bit like a show and tell except unfortunately none of this work is mine. It is place for hard work, talented minds, and tenacious spirits to be showcased. Great things should not be hidden in the confines of hole-in-the-wall and unfranchised stores but put up on a mount for all to see. So if you do work and don’t just stop at your first good idea, don’t be surprised if you end up on here.
I found this little gem of an online store by accident actually. However, the amount of time I spent on the website was intentional. It is not often where I find pieces that I can actually call art but this time… In every little detail you can see the time and appreciation put in to make it perfect. I must have drooled over each piece for a good moment before moving on to the next. Please, don’t take my word for it and go see for yourself (click on the image below).

Located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee I found out about Peter Nappi in Eugene, Oregon out of all places! My friend and I were at a Mat Kearney concert and I couldn’t help but stare at his shoes. So being the fashion detective I am, I found out that Mat Kearney gave them a shoutout on Twitter and it was all downhill from there. Their work is just outstandingly gorgeous.
